I keep getting an error saying "Youmehub encountered an error. Failed to write to 'youmehub.ymh' or 'UserDate.ymh' file...?
When launching Youmehub you may get the following error message:
Youmehub encountered an error. Failed to write to 'youmehub.ymh' or 'UserDate.ymh' file. Check that you have Read & Write permissions to both of these files.
This error is is caused because Youmehub is unable to write to the database files. The reason you are experiencing this problem is because the permissions on Youmehub's database files may have changed.
To fix this navigate to your Documents folder where you will find a folder named 'Youmehub XXX 3.00.01'. Open this folder and select the files 'Youmehub.ymh' and 'userData.ymh' and in the Mac OS finder window choose File > Get Info.
For Youmehub Single-User products change the ownership & permissions of the two database files so that you have Read & Write access.
For Youmehub Multi-User products that are hosted with FileMaker Server change the ownership to 'fmserver' with Read & Write access and the group to 'fmsadmin' with Read & Write access. |
