Importing company/contact data

To import company/contact data:
1. Go to the companies or contacts module.
2. Select File > Import Companies/Contacts...
3. The import wizard will walk you through the process of importing company/contact records into the database.

Note: If you are importing records from a Microsoft Outlook or Entourage database you must first export a tab-delimited text file before proceeding. In Microsoft Entourage select File > Export and choose ‘Local contacts to a list (tab-delimited text)’ or in Microsoft Outlook select File > Import and Export... and choose ‘Export to a file, Comma Separated Values (Windows)’.
